Eskildsen and Maria Amelia Pezzotti, who were profoundly transformed by their deep connection to Panama’s pristine natural landscapes and its rich ancestral cultures. Their transformative travels through Panama, one of the world’s three carbon-negative countries, revealed the immense value of immersing oneself in untouched nature and the profound personal growth that comes from connecting with the cultures of indigenous and rural communities.
Moved by these experiences, Iván and Maria Amelia have dedicated themselves to curate high-end journeys that allow them to share with others the life-changing power of travel.

The name OGAYA, inspired by the Emberá word meaning “detach” and “open eyes,” embodies their vision. It invites travelers to step away from the familiar and open their eyes to new ways of engaging with the world, fostering a deeper connection to nature, authentic communities, and self.
